Introductory Meeting with H.E Eng. Marco de Cruz

This week, Australia’s MDF in Timor-Leste held an introductory meeting with H.E Eng. Marcos da Cruz, the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Forestry. The meeting, also attended by Rachel Jolly, the Australian Embassy’s Counsellor, and Dr. Alipio de Almeida from Metinaro Pig Breeding Center (MPBC), MDF’s partner, aimed to introduce MDF and its agricultural initiatives, particularly in the livestock sector.

During the meeting, the H.E Minister expressed a keen interest in collaborating with MDF, particularly in advancing cattle initiatives.

Discussions revolved around strengthening MDF’s engagements with the private sector. Exciting times ahead as MDF continues to make strides in sustainable agriculture.
